. March 17, 2017 - Obituary - Ardella A. Naylor (Date of death March 13, 2017) Ardella Amelia (Herr) (Wampler) Naylor passed on to her heavenly family on March 13, 2017 from her home in Concord, NC. Born In Adams County, PA in 1927, Della graduated from Gettysburg HS in 1945, immediately accepting a position with the Social Security office in Baltimore, MD. In 1946, marrying and establishing her family residency in York, PA, she turned her commitment to home, family, and church. She would later return to the work force, a valued employee with Wolford TV after completing York Community Progress Council's Clerical Skills Certificate Program as an honorary student in 1980. In 2005 she graduated from Lutheran Social Services Senior Companion Program. In both communities of York, PA and Concord, NC, with relentless dedication to her faith and love of people. Della left a rich legacy of devoting countless hours in being available to family, caring for the sick and elderly, as a kind person and loving listener, and a respected Bible scholar. Della is preceded in death by her husband Adam Galen Naylor, Donald E. Wampler, former husband and father of her three children, her daughter Barbara May Rahn, and granddaughter Angela Kay Rahn. Surviving family includes daughter, Colleen Sargen (Andrew Geasland), Walla Walla, WA; son, Daniel E. Wampler (Tammy), Concord, NC; son-in-law, David Rahn, York, PA; stepson, Alan Naylor (Beverly), Mount Wolf, PA; stepson, David Naylor (Connie), Manchester, PA; Surviving grandchildren includes Shaun A. Sargen, Trista C. Sargen Todd, Scott Rahn, Danielle Boyer, Jeremy Vaught, Amanda Dancy, Justin Whitaker, Jody Rentzel, Deb Tave, Rebecca Oben, Scott Naylor, and Charity Schmidt; 23 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren also survive Della. Memorial Fellowships: West Concord Baptist Church, 225 Warren C Coleman Blvd, Concord, NC 28027 on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, 4-6 PM in the fellowship hall.
