Mr. Barry Chastain, age 49, of Cleveland, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

It is with heavy hearts—and a touch of disbelief—that we announce the passing of Barry Carson Chastain, who left us on September 27, 2025. Born on June 13, 1976, Barry was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his loving mother, Shelly Jo Chastain, and father, Don Chastain; his cherished daughter, Brittany Chastain; his brother, Jeremiah Chastain, and sister-in-law, Jennifer; nieces Carlee Jo, Madison, and Emily; and nephews Trevor and Nathaniel. He is also deeply mourned by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who loved him dearly.

A celebration of Barry's life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Carroll Waters Funeral Home, located at 111 Railroad Court, Cleveland, NC.

Though Barry's physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit remains a guiding light. His life encourages us to live boldly, love deeply, and open our hearts to Jesus. Barry's legacy reminds us never to take a single moment for granted.

Let us honor his memory by carrying his light forward and keeping his spirit alive in all we do. We'll miss you deeply, Barry Carson Chastain—but we will never forget you.
