Mr. Bobby Peterson

Salisbury-Mr. Bobby Simpson Peterson was born June 16, 1943 to the late Laura T. Simpson. He was a former resident of Rock Hill, South Carolina, in York County. He passed away, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, Salisbury, North Carolina. Bobby attended the public schools in York County, South Carolina. He joined Nazareth Baptist Church at an early age. He later moved to Salisbury, North Carolina and has been there for the last 30 plus years. He was employed at Boral Brick Company before his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Shirlene Peterson of Rock Hill, South Carolina and Charlene Peterson Morgan (Michael) of Raleigh, North Carolina; four granddaughters, Ashley Morgan of Atlanta, Georgia, Erica Early, Madison Morgan and Tristyn Morgan all of Raleigh, North Carolina; three sisters, Juanita Barnette (June) and Frances Simpson (Larry) both of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Shirley Medley of Lexington, North Carolina; three brothers, Tommy Simpson (Margaret), Glen Simpson and Stanley Robinson all of Rock Hill, South Carolina; two aunts, Mary Talford and Thomasina McCullough; four uncles, William Talford, Abraham Talford (Ruby), Jackie Talford (Karen) and Douglas Talford all of Rock Hill, South Carolina; A surviving Soul Mate, Willie Beatrice Miller of the home; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. I would like to say a special thanks to Loretta Stout for all of her support during this difficult time (Shirlene Peterson). Funeral arrangements are Tuesday, July 5, 2016, with visitation at 10AM, followed by service at 12Noon, Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 1781 Dunlap Roddey Rd., Rock Hill, South Carolina. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family is meeting at Mr. June and Juanita Barnette residence, 1238 Ogden Rd.
