Mrs. Cynthia Denise McLean Mason of 33 Kesler Street, Salisbury, transitioned on January 25, 2025, at her home unexpectedly. She was born October 25, 1965, and was the daughter of the late David McLean Sr. and Margaret Summers McLean. Cynthia attended Statesville Public schools and was employed at the Waffle House before becoming a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a grandson, La-Reik Tyshaun Ramseur; a niece, Melissa Tate; a favorite aunt, Etta Summers Stevenson. She leaves to cherish her life, her husband, Ricky Scott Mason; one daughter, Brittany McLean (Donald Caldwell) of Charlotte; three sons, Tyreik McLean of Statesville, Robert Price of Salisbury and Scott Mason of Cleveland; a brother, David McLean Jr: three sisters, Tiffany Summers of Salisbury, Kim (Kevin) Bost of Salisbury and Stephanie (Curtis) Reid of Statesville; Cynthia had twenty grandchildren; one great grandchild; a goddaughter, Crystal Daye; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousin and other relatives and friends. Also, some special friends that were dear to her, Ms. Carolyn Tate, Missy Daye, and Donna Brown. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Another Chance Ministry Church, 701 E. Lafayette Street, Salisbury.
