Mr. Edward Harvey

Edward Lawrence Harvey Jr., lovingly known as "Boo," passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and laughter. Born on September 6, 1967, in the Bronx, New York, Boo was the beloved son of the late Nancy Hill and Edward Lawrence Harvey Sr. Raised in Washington, D.C., he completed his education there before moving to North Carolina, where he would meet his loving and devoted wife, LaShonda Harvey.

Boo had a lifelong passion for music and movies, and he delighted in sharing his knowledge by quizzing his children, nieces, and nephews on classic movie and song quotes. His sense of humor and infectious energy brought joy to everyone around him, making each family gathering memorable.

Boo is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Hill, and his dear aunt, Eva Haynes. He leaves behind his father, Edward Harvey Sr.; his loving wife, LaShonda; their children, Techaela Cobb, TyShon Cobb, Robert Blakeney, Alexis Blakeney, Alisha Blakeney, Nazsha Harvey, LaTaesha Harvey; his brother David Kelly and wife Sheila Kelly; his sister Angel Bethea and husband Venlonte Bethea; his sister Jennifer Jones and husband John Jones; sister Adina Rankin;ten adored grandchildren; and a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Boo's vibrant spirit will be missed deeply, and he will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and his unwavering love for his family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
