Elise Lillian Parks

Mrs. Elise L. Finch Parks, 81, was born December 29, 1931, in Richland County, South Carolina to the late Ben and Bessie Finch. On Sunday, February 10, 2013, Mrs. Parks entered eternal life. Mrs. Parks was a graduate of Carver High School in Spartanburg, SC. She attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College and Davidson Community College. She was employed at Rowan Hospital and worked many years as a private duty nurse. Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by brothers Johnson Finch, Ben Finch and Willard Finch. Those who shall forever cherish her memory are sons, Ben Parks and Randy Parks both of Salisbury, NC; daughters, Shirley Parks, Raleigh, NC, Janice Odoom, MN, Jettie Parks and Patricia Elise Parks of Salisbury, NC; sister, Thomasenia Finch Brunson, Columbia, SC; Uncle Henry, Columbia, SC; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
