Rev. Eugene Gray Parrom Jr.

Rev. Eugene Gray Parrom, Jr., of Lexington, North Carolina was born to the late Eugene Gray Parrom, Sr., and the late Clyde Groce Parrom, on July 31, 1930, in Henderson, North Carolina. He went home to be with the Lord at his residence on, December 19, 2018 in Lexington, North Carolina. He was surrounded by his friends and loved ones. Eugene brought joy to so many from his beautiful singing like "I've been to Calvary" and "How big is God," through his powerful preaching and beautiful smile. He was a man with a generous heart to help others from the pulpit to the mission fields in South America. He served in the US Army and came home to serve God's army. He will be rejoicing in heaven as he walks the streets of gold with our Lord and loved one's who have gone on before him. The words still echo in my heart and ears, "If I can help somebody then my living will not be in vain." He was the Pastor of Faith Temple Church which he and his father built. They built many churches. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Gray Parrom, Sr.; mother, Clyde Groce Parrom; son, Jose Parrom; two sisters, Naomi Love and Ruth Lewellyn. He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Kathy Goodnight (Marvin) of Concord, NC; God-daughter, Jacqueline Hancock (Billy) of Lexington, NC; and a host of niece, nephews, and friends. Funeral Arrangements: Saturday, December 22, 2018, with visitation at 12:30pm followed by service 1PM at Faith Temple Church, High Point, North Carolina. The church will open doors at 11am for viewing. Interment will be in the Floral Garden Memorial Park, High Point, North Carolina.
