Mr. Gabriel Jamar Brown Sr.

Mr. Gabriel Jamar Brown, Sr., son of Darryl Brown and Tess Turner was born on November 23rd, 1990. He transitioned from this earthly realm on Saturday, July 17th, 2021. He graduated from Randolph County Community College in 2013 and he was last employed with Bimbo Bakery. Gabriel was a loving father, son, brother, grandson and friend to all. He will be dearly missed. Gabriel is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Juanita and Charles Brown. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving parents, Darryl Brown, Sr. and Tess Turner (Wilbert) of Salisbury, NC; children, Iijah 'Rae Blackwell, Gabriona Brown, Gabriel Brown, Jr. all of Lexington, NC and Kingston Brown of Hickory, NC; siblings, Darryl Brown, Jr. of Lenoir, NC, Niquita Brown of Charlotte, NC, Damien Brown, Shamika Brown, and Raeqwon Turner all of Salisbury, NC; maternal grandmother, Carrie Ann Feamster Turner; his partner, Tempestt Hoover of Hickory, NC, his best friend, Greg Pettiford and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service is Saturday, July 24, 2021, with visitation at 11:30a.m., followed by service 12p.m., Tower of Power United Holy Church, 601 E. Cemetery Street, Salisbury, North Carolina. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Family viewing will be Friday, July 23, 2021, from 1PM to 2PM, after this time viewing is open to the public.
