Mr. George Junior Fisher

Kannapolis It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. George Junior Fisher, 82, of Kannapolis, announces his passing Monday, January 7, 2019, at Tucker Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 19th at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 prior to the service. George was born February 5, 1936, in Kannapolis, to the late James Edward Fisher and Ella Fesperman Fisher. He retired as a supervisor for Fieldcrest Cannon of 40 years. He loved spending time with his family! He also enjoyed lawn work and gardening. George is survived by his loving wife, Faye Paige Fisher; son, Roger Fisher; daughter, Tammy Wampler (Dan); grandchildren, Amanda Dancy (Clint), Jason Whitaker (Brittaney), Nicole Bradley, Jared Fisher; great grandchildren, Maddie, Chloe, Landyn, Bryce, Brock, Jayden, Gavin, and Harper.
