STATESVILLE - Mr. Issac Lewis Houston,II age 34, of Statesville departed this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on March 11, 1980 to Maxie Lee Houston and Faye Carolyn Lesuer Houston. Issac was a graduate of Middlesex County Vocational Technical High School in Perth Amboy, NJ and a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, N.C. He was self-employed in the entertainment industry. Issac was preceded in death by one daughter, Hope Houston, his mother, Faye, maternal and fraternal grandparents, and an uncle Charles Bernard Houston. Those left to cherish his memories are his father and stepmother, Maxie Lee and Carolyn Houston; Fiancee, Akaia Ervin; three daughters, Izzy'Ana Houston, Statesville, Shamya and Tania Houston of New Jersey; two stepsons, Davion and Bobby Hairston of Statesville; four sisters, Sherry (Wendell) Grinton, Pamela (Elliott) Turner of Statesville, Beatice Kettles of Connecticut, and Donna Rucker of Winston-Salem; six brothers, Darrell Todd (Mamie) Houston of Troutman, NC, Alex Kettles, of Perth Amboy, NJ, Scott Neal, Audrey Neal, Terry Phifer, Cary Phifer of Statesville, and Courtney Phifer of Winston-Salem; an aunt, Sandra (Arthur )Hunt of Cleveland; great aunt, Ann (Lewis) Wise, New Carrollton, MD; a God mother, Ann(Larry) Marshall; two God brothers, Jamie and Shaun Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 10th. Visitation at 1pm, service follow at 1:30pm, Zion Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church, Troutman, North Carolina. Interment follows in the church cemetery.
