Mr. James Edward Lyles Jr.

Mr. James Edward Lyles, Jr., age 36, was born to James Edward Lyles, Sr. and the late Vanessa Matthews, on January 6, 1986, in Rowan County, NC. On Monday, July 4, 2022, he went home to be with the Lord at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, Salisbury, North Carolina. He was educated in the public schools of Rowan County, NC. and was a member of Grace Deliverance Tabernacle, Salisbury, NC. James enjoyed spending quality time with his children and other family members, traveling to the beach, and watching the airplanes take off at the airport. James is preceded in death by his mother Vanessa Matthews, grandparents, Benjamin and Katie Matthews; aunt Rolene Matthews; and uncle Benjamin Matthews, Jr. Those left to cherish his memories: sons, Brooklyn Henderson-Lyles and Aiden Henderson-Lyles, Salisbury, NC; uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Graveside Service will be held 12 noon, on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Oakwood Cemetery, Salisbury, North Carolina. Interment will follow.
