James Neely

Mr. James "Moon" Nelson Neely was born on August 6, 1948 in Davie County, The son of the late Mary Alice Neely Wilson. On, Saturday, September 22, 2012, he departed this life at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Winston Salem, North Carolina. He attended Davie County Schools and retired from Anderson Aggregates LLC. Moon loved hunting with his dogs and fishing. Preceded in death by his grandson Temerarious Miller; two great-grand children Zakiyal Toomer, Baby Lewis and Stepfather Eugene Wilson.. He is survived by his daughter Glenda Faye(Dwaine) Wells of Salisbury; two grandchildren William De'Marcus Lewis and Tammy Nicole Miller; five great grandchildren Kevin Toomer, Sanilac Nelson Tammy Nicole Miller; five great grandchildren Kevin Toomer, Sanylah Nelson, Sarenity Mille, Drayden Lewis and Ka'Marley Toomer of Salisbury; his fiancé Susan Chapman of the home; one aunt Eleanor (Eugene) Faulkner of Advance; two uncle Carlee Neely and Thomas Neely both of Mocksville and a number of cousins, other relatives and friends.
