Mr. Jay “J-Bird” Anderson

Jay "J-Bird" Anderson, 76, of Lincolnton, NC passed away June 30, 2025, in the comfort of his home. He was a retiree from the City of Bessemer City. Son of Late Ferman and Rhuie Anderson. Jay was a devoted husband to his late wife, Lynn of 22 years. He was a devoted father, grandfather & great-grandfather. He loved his family & friends. He was very present in family activities. He was loved by many. A private funeral service will be held at his home, where he lived with his daughter/caretaker, Melina Anderson, since 2020. Jay is survived by his son, Daniel Anderson & wife Bobbie. Daughters: Leanne Grubbs, & husband Robert. Kasey Queen & husband Barry, and Melina Anderson. Brother, Darrell Anderson. Sisters: Doris, Alene, and Regina. Jay has 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
