Ms. Jerri Ann Rankin

Ms. Jerri Ann Rankin, age 39, journey through life began for her on January 19, 1980 in Rowan County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Troy Jerry Rankin and the late Patricia Ann Dunlap. She entered into eternal life on, June 3, 2019, in Linwood, North Carolina. Jerri attended Salisbury-Rowan County Schools and graduated from RCCC. Jerri worked as a homecare aide and the last job she worked was Shipman's Family Homecare, Lexington, North Carolina. Jerri resided in Lexington with a loving companion, Eddie Jackson. Jerri will always be remembered as a loving outgoing, outspoken person. She loved her family, especially her sisters dearly. Those who preceded her in death was her loving mother, Patricia Ann Dunlap; step father, John Dunlap; Grandfather, Wyatt Cuthbertson; Aunt, Crystal Cuthbertson. Jerri leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Jakira Elise Paige (father Jermaine Barr); her father, Troy Jerry Rankin (Brenda) of Salisbury; sisters, Antina R. Jennings (Thodore), Tangila V. Williams (Felton), Sheria T. Rankin (Mario) all of Lexington, North Carolina; and Kayla D. Turner (Terell) and Sherry Hawthorne (Dwayne), both of Salisbury, North Carolina; brothers, Anthony Holloway and Benjamin Hawthorne, both of Salisbury, North Carolina; Grandmother, Lelia Cuthbertson of Salisbury, North Carolina; a special Aunt, Gladys Baptiste (Leroy) of Bronx, New York; a special companion, Eddie Jackson, of Lexington, North Carolina; A host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements are Wednesday, June 12, 2019, with visitation at 12:30PM, followed by service 1:00PM, at New Smith Chapel Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, 220 Sandra Avenue, Salisbury, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family are accepting family and friends at her father's residence, Troy Jerry Rankin, 615 W. Horah Street, Salisbury, North Carolina.
