Mr. Jerry Michael Phifer

Spencer-Mr. Jerry Michael Phifer, age 66, of 417 N. Rowan Avenue Ext., Spencer, North Carolina, the beloved son of the late Ella Lee Phifer Jones, was born in Rowan County on, May 22, 1950. He departed this life on, April 23, 2017, at NC State Veterans Home, following an extended illness. He attended Rowan County Schools. He was last employed at FDY Foodservice and Dunkin Donuts. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna'belle and Jessie Phifer; four brothers, Robert, Philmore, Isadore and George Phifer. He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Teresa Phifer and Patricia Phifer-Archie (Demar) both of Spencer; a step son, Fawn Phifer of Salisbury; a brother, Nathaniel "Tut" Phifer; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation and Service: Monday, May 1, 2017, Trinity Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Caldwell Street, Salisbury, with visitation at 11am followed by service at 11:30am.
