Mr. John Kenneth Pardue

Mr. John Kenneth (Pete) Pardue, age 82 of McGrady, North Carolina passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Pardue was born February 9, 1939 in Alleghany County to John and Pauline Pardue. He was a member of Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church and retired from Northwestern Regional Housing Authority. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his family, his dogs Sam & Mojo, racing, hunting and construction work. Pete was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Stacy Pardue; two sisters, Josephine Walton and Annie Mae Crouse. He is survived by a wife, Ruby Pardue of McGrady, North Carolina; five sons, Kenneth Pardue and Clarence Pardue both of Millers Creek, North Carolina, Curtis Pardue (Renee) of Hickory, North Carolina, Marty Pardue (Stephanie) of N. Wilkesboro, North Carolina and Vince Pardue of McGrady, North Carolina; four daughters, Paula Handy (Terry) and Amanda Stanley (Eric) both of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Jackie Hancock (Billy) and Trish Carter both of Lexington, North Carolina; one brother, Junior Pardue of Wilkesboro, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Matthew Pardue, Jessica Clay, Raelynn Pardue, Mason Stanley, Anthony Pardue, Caitlynn Fonvielle, Jayden Pardue, Brooke Craig and Seth Pardue; four great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30p.m., Friday, July 30th at Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church with Reverend David Wellborn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11a.m., until 12:30p.m., prior to the service.
