Mr. Jonathan Jermaine Johnson

Jonathan Jermaine Johnson was born in Rowan County on May 21, 1983 to Frances Young Tyson and Bobby Johnson Sr. Jonathan better known as "JJ" attended Davie County High Schools. Prior to moving to Baltimore, Maryland, he was employed by Brake Bush Company in Mocksville, North Carolina. His true passions were playing the drums even as a small child Johnathan would find anything to beat on to use as drums. JJ had a beautiful voice; his smile was contagious and his laughter would fill the room. JJ loved people and would do whatever was asked of him with respect and with no hesitation. Johnathan was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Young Tyson; son, Jeremiah Lamont Johnson; maternal grandfather, Oscar Blackwell; paternal grandparents, Robert Lee Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Wilson-Johnson; brother, TaJarvis Little; and uncle Oscar Lynn Young. He leaves behind three sons, Isaiah Johnson of Harmony, Kenneth Johnson of Cleveland and Carson Hall of Mocksville; father, Bobby Ranand Johnson Sr of Baltimore, Maryland; sister, Latisha Nacole Young of Mocksville, North Carolina; brothers, Darren Lynn Johnson of Mocksville, North Carolina, additional siblings Bobby Johnson, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; Bobbi Bost, Daniel Tyson and Erica Tyson all of Salisbury, North Carolina; Step Father Nathon Tyson of Salisbury, North Carolina; Grandmothers, Linda Blackwell of Mocksville, North Carolina and Evelyn Johnson of Salisbury, North Carolina; God brother, Bryant Wilson, Mocksville, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements: Sunday, January 29, 2023, with visitation at 2 p.m. followed by service at 2:30 p.m., Erwin Tempe CME Church, 155 Erwin Temple Church Road, Woodleaf. North Carolina.
