Mrs. Linda Gale Whitaker

Salisbury-Mrs. Linda Gale Whitaker, age 67, was born on May 24, 1950, to the late Aaron Banks and Cloree Banks, in East Spencer, North Carolina. She departed this life on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Glenn Kiser Hospice House, Salisbury, North Carolina. She attended Dunbar High School. She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Cloree (James) Streater of Salisbury and Christy Lewis of the home; a god-daughter, Charisse Shavers of East Spencer, North Carolina; two sisters, Elaine Banks (Harry) Holmes of East Spencer, North Carolina and Claudia (Kenny) Hargrave of Lexington, North Carolina; two brothers, Gregory (Shelia) Brown of Lexington, North Carolina and Edy (Thelma) Banks of Spencer, North Carolina; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will be accepting family and friends at the home of 46 Cedar Street, Salisbury and Gwendolyn Banks Holmes residence at 307 Oak Street, East Spencer.
