Mr. Michael Anthony Caldwell

Michael Anthony Caldwell age 62, of 812 E. Lafayette Street, Salisbury, North Carolina went home to be with His other family members on March 1, 2021. Michael was born to the late Richard William Caldwell and Nevolia Waiters Caldwell on July 9, 1958. Michael attended Salisbury City Schools, but spent many years with Job Corps. He was last employed at Cannon Mills and he was also a painter. He loved wrestling and was a die-hard Pittsburg Steller fan. Michel was very giving and kind hearted. He never met a stranger. He always kept everyone laughing. Michel was preceded by his parents, Richard and Nevolia Caldwell; sister, Betty Lou Watkins; two brothers, Levi Adam Caldwell and Richard Demont Caldwell. Michael leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Elisha Lanette Brewer, and Kimyatta Nichole Jackson, both of Greensboro, North Carolina; three sons, Ryan Oneil Jackson, Greensboro, North Carolina, Malcolm Simpson, Salisbury, North Carolina and Maurice Steele of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters, Eleanor (Walter) Hamilton and Beatrice Miller of Salisbury, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a special friend of many years, Anna Torrence; special brothers, Jessie Watson, Jody Austin, Ricky Hoskins, Jerry Crocket and Bobby Simpson (too many to name); a host of nieces, nephews that was crazy about him. Funeral arrangements will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 with visitation at 12pm, followed by service 12:30pm, Tower of Power United Holy Church, 601 E. Cemetery Street, Salisbury, North Carolina.
