Michael Dublin

Michael David Duplin was born on July 7, 1960 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Clida Mae Dublin and Harry J. Anderson, Sr. He departed this life suddenly on October 24, 2012 at his residence in Raleigh, North Carolina. "Big Mike" as he was affectionately known is survived by his daughter Torsandia Peacock Franklin (Anthony) of Brooklyn, New York; eight (8) sisters Belinda Dublin of Concord, NC, Gail Horton (Donald) of Lilburn, GA, Marilyn Garvin of Hamden, CT, Saundra Strong of New Haven, CT, Carol Strong-Robinson (Herbert) of Bowie, MD, Deborah Herring of Raleigh, NC, Yvonne Anderson of Lanham, MD and Lisa Anderson of New Haven, CT; three (3) brothers, Harry Anderson, II (Michelle) of New Haven, CT., Corey Anderson (Crystal) of New Haven, CT and William Jackson of Waterbury, CT. He also leaves to cherish his memory a stepmother, Beulah Jones of Upper Marlboro, MD. He cherish his role as a father and being grandfather to Zahyon, Kemahya and Zanahya, Anthony Jr., and Zamori Franklin. He was also a caring uncle who loved to interact with and give advice to his nieces and nephews. Michael attended grammar school in New Haven and then relocated to North Carolina. After graduation from Smithfield-Selma High School in Smithfield, NC in 1978, he embarked on a journey that would take him across the U.S. to California, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia and Washington, DC to name a few and finally
