Mr. Michael Pruitt

Michael Ramon Pruitt was born in Rowan County on November 30, 1974, the son of Sherry Pruitt and the late Michael Gaither. Michael departed this early life on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Michael Pruitt attended Davie County Schools. He was last employed with Magna Composited of Salisbury, North Carolina.

Michael was a beloved partner, father, son, brother, and friend. He lived a life full of love, joy, and laughter. He loved listening to music, and his love for gospel music did not go unnoticed. His hobbies included going to the fish tables, shopping at the Polo store, and spending time with his family and friends.

He cherished the time spent with loved ones, whether gathered for a home-cooked meal or sharing laughter during family events. He had a special place in his heart for caring for his family and creating memorable moments for those he loved.

While his time with us was far too short, Michael touched the hearts of many. His legacy will live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was a person who brought light and laughter into every room he entered, and his love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.

Michael  was preceded in death by his father, Michael J Gaither, his nephew , Isaiah Gaither and his "Special Nanny" Alice Gaither.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Sherry Pruitt of Salisbury; special companion, Kimberely Holmes, of the home; his children, Kandise McDaniel of Mocksville, Brevin Goodlett of Salisbury, Braniya Goodlett of Salisbury, Jamir Jiles of Salisbury, Markalen Holmes, MyKaheal Holmes and Jadun Holmes of the home. Grandchildren Hudson McDaniel and Italy McDaniel of Mocksville. Brother Melvin L Pruitt of Winston-Salem and Sister Melanie Pruitt of Winston-Salem. In cherish memories he is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.

Though Michael is no longer with us, his spirit, love, and joy for life will continue to inspire and live on in the hearts of all blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
