Mildred Jeter

Cleveland-Mrs. Mildred Geneva Knox Jeter, departed this life on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Five Oaks Nursing Home, Concord, North Carolina. Mildred was the daughter of the late Dorothy Knox and James Mitchell was born on April 6, 1933 in Rowan County. Mildred was a house wife, domestic worker and attended R. A. Clement School. Mildred took care of lots of kids in her home. She had a kind heart, loved people and her community. Her life will always be in the hearts of her one son, Reverend Tommy Knox (Velma); one sister, Laura Smith of Mooresville; two grandsons, Tommy Knox and Tyrone Knox both of Cleveland; one great-granddaughter, Chanese Knox; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Services: Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Allen Temple Presbyterian Church, 1:30pm visitation followed by service at 2:00pm, Rev. J. C. Byers, officiating. Interment: Allen Temple Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
