Charles Krider Sr., age 77, of Salisbury, North Carolina, passed away on June 4, 2026. He was born on January 7, 1949.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilda Douglas and Napoleon Krider, and his sister, Emma Holmes.

Charles was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was rooted in love, strength, and dedication to his family. He is survived by his children: Charmin Renea Krider, Charles Krider Jr., Crystal Krider, Kish Cook (Eddie), and LJ Ratcliff; his grandchildren: Courtnei Krider-Coker-Dickens (Oye), Taylor Krider, Ashlei Thompson, and Corbin Krider; and his great-grandchildren, Kylei Krider and Kayci Thompson. He is also survived by his sisters, Gloria Lewis, Cynthia Krider, and Doris Krider, and his brothers, Don Boo and Harry Holmes.

Charles will be remembered as a selfless, hardworking, generous, wise, and resilient man. He had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a special love for baking pies. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends and found joy in music, sports, and the simple moments that created lasting memories with those he loved.

Above all, Charles will be remembered for his warm smile and caring spirit, which touched everyone blessed to know him.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM at Tower of Power UHC, 601 E. Cemetery Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.

His legacy of love, strength, and togetherness will continue to live on through his family and generations to come.
