High Point

Jeremiah Dallas was born on May 16, 2003, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, at Forsyth Medical Center. From the moment he entered the world, Jeremiah brought light, love, and joy to those around him. Born during a season of deep loss within his family, he became a source of healing, comfort, hope, and strength for everyone who loved him.

In 2005, Jeremiah and his family returned to Marietta, Georgia, where he spent much of his childhood. He briefly attended Park Street Elementary School before moving to Kingman, Arizona, with his grandmother, Sonia. While living in Arizona, Jeremiah attended Hualapai Elementary School.

Jeremiah had a deep love for music, singing, and dancing. He enjoyed performing in talent shows and proudly earned first place for his performances. His favorite artists, Bruno Mars and Ne-Yo, inspired him and brought him happiness through their music.

After two years in Arizona, Jeremiah returned to Marietta, where he completed his final year at Dunleith Elementary School before attending Marietta Sixth Grade Academy.

Jeremiah later moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, with his grandmother Sonia and her wife, Paula, where he attended KIPP Academy Charlotte. He graduated successfully from KIPP and continued his education at Garinger High School, where he excelled academically and played football. Jeremiah later graduated from Southwest Guilford High School as a member of the Class of 2021.

Jeremiah was a kind, gentle, and respectful young man who was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. He carried a quiet strength and warm spirit that made others feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. Though he faced challenges along his journey, Jeremiah continued striving to find his purpose and place in the world. He was growing, learning, and becoming the man he was destined to be.

To know Jeremiah was to love him. His smile, energy, and beautiful soul left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to cross his path. He was deeply cherished by his family, friends, and community.

Jeremiah leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Tamara Dallas of High Point, North Carolina, and her partner, Willis Ingram; his grandmother, Sonia Dallas-Speight of Guam; his spiritual grandmother, Paula Speight of Concord, North Carolina; his grandfather, Paul Reed of Memphis, Tennessee; and his great-grandfather, Walter Griffin of Greenwood, Mississippi.
