Ms. Brenda Harper

Brenda Harper was born on October 19, 1951, to the late Pearson “Pete” Harper and Maudie Brown Harper. She departed this life on March 30, 2026, at her home.

Brenda attended Hart County Training School in Hartwell, Georgia. She had a nurturing spirit and was well-loved by her community and family. She loved to cook and dance. Her favorite saying was, “I can get down.” She also enjoyed watching television. Her favorite shows were Lifetime, Family Feud, Judge Judy, and General Hospital.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Willie Harper, Marvin Harper, and Wade Harper.

Brenda leaves to cherish her loving memories: Her daughters, Lisa Harper of Salisbury, NC; Michelle (Aaron) Miller; Elaine Harper; and Elna Bolton of Salisbury, NC. Five grandchildren: Kimberly Elaine “Puff” Bolton Sanders, Malquin Miller, Michael Miller, Jasmine Miller, and two great-grandchildren. Her siblings: Herbert (Melvina) Harper, Tom Harper of Miami, FL, and Terry Harper and Melvin Harper of Hartwell, GA. Her sisters: Mary Harper, Betty Harper, Ruth Delphine Jackson of Hartwell, GA, and Annie (Bernard) Clement of Salisbury, NC. Her sister-in-law: Elizabeth Harper of Hartwell, GA. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special friend: Joann Phifer.
