Ms. Marle Fleming

Jan 26, 1999 — Jul 1, 2026

Charlotte

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marle Naomi Kay Fleming, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 2:44 p.m., at the age of 27.

Marle was born on January 26, 1999, in St. Joseph, Michigan. She spent her early years in Benton Harbor, Michigan, before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was raised. She attended McClintock Middle School and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School as a member of the Class of 2018.

She began her career as an Assistant Manager at Circle K, but her greatest passion was caring for children. For eight years, she faithfully served as a daycare teacher before becoming a full-time nanny, pouring love, patience, and guidance into the lives of countless children. Her dream was to one day open her own daycare, creating a safe and loving place where children could learn and grow.

She shared a special love with her high school sweetheart, Nick Walton. Their seven-year relationship was built on friendship, loyalty, and unwavering support.

One of the greatest decisions of Marle's life was giving her heart to Christ. She was baptized at Christ Missionary Outreach on November 15, 2025, and her faith brought her peace and hope. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is resting safely in the arms of her Savior.

Marle was preceded in death by her brothers, Demarcus Lamont Fleming and Damarcus Lamont Weaver; her maternal grandmother, Lela Mae Taylor Fleming; and her maternal grandfather, Lafayette Fleming.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted mother, Karima Fleming; her father, Demarcus Weaver; and her siblings, Makaejah Fleming, Marques Fleming, Jayla Weaver, Daelyn Weaver, Jada Weaver, and Naomi Miller.

Marle was a proud and loving aunt to Sariyah Wallace, Honesti Fleming, and Sa'Riyah Brielle, who brought endless joy to her life.

She is also lovingly remembered by her aunts, Shawnita Fleming (Keith Freeman), Dahletha Armstead (Terry Armstead), and Christie Philips; her uncle, Ian Fleming; and three uncles on her father's side.

She also leaves behind her beloved cousins: Bobby Watson, Aaliyah Freeman, Brianna Armstead, Bryson Armstead, Nisha Perez (Chris Perez), Ann Suggs, Kayla Baskin, Jazmine Philips, Erica Allen, Ametrius Fleming, Deshon Fleming, Crystal Fleming, Antwanette Fleming, and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Although Marle's life was far too brief, the love she shared, the kindness she extended, and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her beautiful spirit will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched, and her legacy of tenacity, compassion, generosity, and faith will never be forgotten.
