Namon Vincent Williams, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on December 14, 2024. Born on May 29, 1971, to the late Namon and Mary Williams, he was a light in the lives of many.
Educated in the Guilford County school system, Namon was baptized at an early age and became a dedicated member of East White Oak Baptist Church. He worked with youth as a football and basketball coach at Windsor Recreation Center and was known for his famous collard green egg rolls. Namon's love for family, friends, and travel made him the life of every gathering.
Preceded in death by his parents, niece Chiquita Adams, and grandson Kaycen Smith, Namon leaves behind his devoted wife Melissa Barnette Williams; children Christian Williams, Chenelle Williams, Asia Morrison, and bonus children Ron Mitchell Jr. (Tasha), Deron Barnette (Yasmine), and Lorris Alston-Smith (Devon); seven grandchildren; siblings Gwendolyn Johnson, Michael Williams (Robin), Teresa Adams, Reginald Williams, Patrick Adams, and Karen Matier (Kelvin); and many cherished relatives and friends.
