Pastor Louise Geter Everhart

Pastor Louise Geter Everhart, better known as "Bay" and "Granny," 75, was born May 9, 1944, to the late Lee Geter, Sr. and Louise Booker in Gaffney, South Carolina. She attended R.A. Clement School in Cleveland, N.C. She began preaching at the age of 45 and retired pastoring from Welcome Holy Temple of Salisbury, N. C. She was a member of New Life Community Church of East Spencer, N.C. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Corderio Everhart; a sister, Alberta Rudisell; brothers, James Geter, Fred Geter, Isaac Geter, Saint Arthur Geter, Lee Geter and Jackie Geter. She leaves to cherish her memories, Charles Eberhart Sr., husband; children, Charles Everhart, Jr., (Terrie), Linda Walker (Leroy), Phyllis Everhart, Billy Everhart (Deborah) and extended children Cyntra "Kee Kee" Lee, Latanya Brown and Lakeesha Brown; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Davis, Mary Geter, and Charity Gladden (Jerome); brothers Bennie Geter (Shay), Joseph Geter (Lisa), Robert Geter (Racheal), John Geter (Emma). A host of other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, East Spencer, North Carolina, with visitation at 1PM followed by service 2PM. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Salisbury. Boone-Carroll Funeral Home, 111 Railroad Street, Cleveland, North Carolina, is assisting the Everhart family.
