Mr. Renard Paul Cuthbertson

CLEVELAND - Mr. Renard Paul Cuthbertson, 73, of Cleveland, North Carolina, was born on April 2, 1948, to the late Wyatt Cuthbertson, Sr. and the late Rosetta Cowan Cuthbertson. He graduated from R.A. Clement High School and worked for St. Mary's Hospital in N.Y., Davis Construction in Salisbury and C.N.N. in Atlanta. Paul was an easy going, well-dressed man, who could build anything he set his mind to. He loved his family and was a favorite uncle to many. On July 30, 2021, he passed away at Novant Prebysterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, following a brief illness. Paul was loved and will be dearly missed by his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Wyatt Cuthbertson, Jr. and John Cuthbertson; two sisters, Martha Rolland and Maude Jones; two sisters-in-laws, Geraldine and Cora Bell Cuthbertson; a brother-in-law, Bennie Powell. Paul is survived by his daughter, Sheba (Eric) of Kannapolis and one son, Renard of Cleveland, North Carolina; and eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Adanne, Azeria, Cayla, Kaden, Cameron, Kolby, and Isaiah; four brothers, Arthur Cuthbertson, James Cuthbertson (Norma Ruth), William Cuthbertson, and Jerry Cuthbertson; four sisters, Mary McConeyhead, Libby Blackwell (David), Rosetta Powell, and Debra Cuthbertson; one brother-in-law, James Jones; two sister-in-laws, Brenda and Lillian Cuthbertson; a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. Service will be held on, Wednesday, August 4, 2021, with visitation at 11A.M. followed by service 11:30A.M., at Cedar Grove A.M.E Zion Church in Cleveland, North Carolina.
