Mr. Robert Andrew Beam

Mr. Robert Andrew Beam, age 64, of Statesville, North Carolina, passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Friday July 3, 2020. Robert was born in Mooresville, North Carolina to Robert Bruce Beam, Jr. (preceded in death) and Sue Atwell Beam. He was the older of the two siblings, Cathy Beam and Lori Beam. Robert attended Wingate University where he majored in computer science and enjoyed playing baseball. Robert retired from Bali of Sara Lee where he worked in manufacturing. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman, and a loving Daddy and Paw Paw. Robert will be truly missed by his friends and family and remembered with love. Robert is survived by his life partner, Pamela E. Harris of Statesville, North Carolina; five children, William Beam (Toccarra) of Statesville, North Carolina, Omar Dunlap of Los Angeles, California, Eric Beam (Micaela) of Statesville, North Carolina, Jaquawn Harris (Carrie) of Statesville, North Carolina and Shaquwandra Harris of Statesville, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Tymasha, Azriana, Aziyah, Ryan, Makenna, Eric Jr., Makailyn and Kyla; two great grandchildren Malachi and Ryleigh. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Gordon Hospice House of Statesville, North Carolina. They are truly grateful for the compassionate that they showed towards the family. Funeral service is Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 2pm, The Living Church of Our Lord, (parking lot) 1608 Shelton Avenue, Statesville, North Carolina.
