Mr. Shannon David Burns

Mr. Shannon David Burns was born November 5, 1971, in Iredell County to Wanda Burns.  He passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at his residence. He graduated from the Iredell County School System and served a short term in the navy. Shannon was a very loving and outgoing person. He loved fishing and he loved his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He leaves to cherish fond memories, his mother, Wanda Burns of Statesville; two brothers, Douglas Scott West and Joseph Daniel Burns; Grandmother, Leona Moore; four aunts, Kathy Mock, Brenda Haggerty, Patsy Hamilton and Donna Setzer (Scott); 3 uncles, David Waddell (Debra), Kent West and Ronnie West (Carolyn); A special cousin Carol West; a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral Service is Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10 a.m., Southview Baptist Church, 625 Wallace Springs Road, Statesville, North Carolina.
