Mrs. Tamika Nicole Pinkney

Mrs. Tamika Nicole Pinkney was born, October 21, 1980 to Fred Williams and Sarah Burris, in Jersey City, New Jersey. She passed on, February 22, 2022 at 3:30am, at her residence, after a fight with colon cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Tamika was loved by everyone around her and will truly be missed. We all will miss her dearly. She was a teacher and nurse for several years. She was a great mother, wife, daughter's friend and grandmother with a kind heart. She was preceded in death by, her father, Fred Williams. Those left to cherish her memory is her mother, Sarah Burris; husband, Wallie Pinkney; a daughter, Trinity Shipman; two sons, Robert and Josiah Steele; one grandchild, Ziya Hurdle; four brothers, Gary Burris, Anthony Washington, Carlous Bradley, and Jovan Amiker. There will be a private graveside service, Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Salisbury National Cemetery. Boone-Carroll Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the Pinkney family.
